I have lived in Colorado Springs since 1997, and I honestly wouldn't live anywhere else. I grew up figure skating competitively at the Broadmoor World Arena, I am a proud Cheyenne Mountain High School alum, and an even prouder graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. My husband, Grant, and I met in Colorado Springs and chose this beautiful town to raise our family. We have a 6 year old daughter, Brooke, a 4 year old son, Braeden, a 2 year old daughter, Brynn, and a baby boy, Breck. They are the absolute loves of our lives. After spending seven years in the banking world, I made the transition to real estate. I had a strong desire to make a career change that would enable me to help other families, while having the ability to still be there for my family as well. I am extremely passionate about helping the military, as I have family members that serve, and I also know that without the military Colorado Springs wouldn't be half of the amazing city it is. In 2016, I closed 98 transactions and ranked in the top 1.5% of all agents in Colorado Springs. I earned the RE/MAX Chairman's Club award and the Quantum Leap award. More importantly, I earned the trust and respect of 98 clients, many of whom have become close friends. In 2017, I, and my team, closed over 210 transactions. I earned RE/MAX's Hall of Fame award in 2017. In 2018, I, and my team, again closed over 200 transactions, and in 2019, we closed a record 224 transactions. I grew up an hour outside of Boston in a small town. For 17 years I was a competitive figure skater and was a member of Team USA for 7 years. After moving to Colorado Springs from Boston in 2003 to continue training, I realized this was the only place I would ever want to live. There is nothing like the clear blue skies and friendly atmosphere this city provides.

I graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School and then went on to pursue a degree in Sports Health and Wellness Promotion at UCCS. I was a figure skating coach for 12 years at the Broadmoor World Arena before making a career change to real estate.

Growing up in this military-rich town and having so many friends whose family members were in the military really made me want to pursue a career in helping our hometown heroes and their families find their homes. It’s so rewarding to be able to help those who put their lives on the line day after day to protect our country. We have always wanted to live in Colorado Springs and after 15 years we are stationed at Peterson AFB. We love the quality of life and community here. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Marketing. I have 15 years of experience in business, sales, e-commerce, and data analysis. My husband Josh and I have been blessed with 3 beautiful children. In our downtime, our family enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring Colorado.

For several years I have always loved the idea of getting into real estate, but I never thought I would actually do it. After serving 9 years in the Active Component United States Army, I found a home with Military Home Search. I married my wife Laura Leigh Beaton in 2013 shortly after meeting in college. We both went active duty and since then we had 3 beautiful boys, Vincent, Bruce and Charles III “Charlie”. Of all my accomplishments, nothing compares to my family and that’s what I am most proud of.

I moved to Colorado Springs in November of 2018 and I never looked back. I am originally from Minnesota and attended college in Wisconsin before beginning my journey serving in the military starting as a Private First Class in the Wisconsin National Guard. I joined ROTC, went active duty and would find my calling as an Infantry Officer over the next four years with the coveted 101st Airborne Division. I was a branch detailed officer and went to the Captains Career Course to be a Signal Officer. I spent the last 3 years of my active duty career doing just that. I currently serve in the reserve capacity.

I plan to set in my roots in Colorado indefinitely, what is there not to love about this city! I am an avid hockey player and this is my true passion. I am fortunate enough to play 2 or more times a week here in Colorado Springs. I currently play on the United States All Army Hockey Team started in 2017. We have won Gold and Silver Medals in the Baltic Military Winter Games over the past few years. I have never been more proud to represent my Military and my Country on the ice overseas.

In all the experiences that I have had in and out on the military, on and off the ice, good or bad, the most valuable lesson learned is how to “Win”. I am originally from Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University, where I earned a BS in Sociology and Public Administration. After graduating, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, and spent 3 years working for the State of North Carolina in Courthouse Administration. While this provided me with the ability to connect with people everyday, I wanted a career path that I could take anywhere as a military spouse. I made the leap into real estate and haven't looked back!

I spent 2 years with RE/MAX in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, NC real estate market and worked extensively with military and former military clientele. My husband was transferred to Fort Carson to join 10th Special Forces Group and we couldn't be happier to call Colorado Springs our home. She’s a California native but Colorado is her forever home! Laura has three daughters Haylee 17, Kylee 15, and Aleeah 10 years old. She is also a dog mom to Prince 3yrs and Tortilla 13 yrs. Her husband has served in the Army for 16 years and is currently serving overseas.

She says this is by far their favorite duty station because of their outdoorsy lifestyle and unlimited local travel opportunities!

She enjoys hiking, exploring local places, and taking adventures with family and friends. She loves going to sports events with her husband, although football is by far her favorite! Laura served as a 31B, Military Police Officer and recently transitioned into the civilian life. She is so excited to help families find their forever home and build dreams within her own community!

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago where I received my B.S in Business Administration and used that to in turn run my own small business. I always had a calling for the military, and I left to pursue that passion. I was enlisted as an infantryman and was stationed here at Ft Carson, Colorado Springs. From my first days here, I knew I wanted to be here in Colorado. Despite my life of the hustle and grind of the city of Chicago, there is something about the air, the people, and the views that makes this simply different from anywhere else I have been.

When I was initially stationed here at Fort Carson, the MHS Team helped me purchase and later helped me sell my home before PCSing to Fort Sam Houston. The team had such a profound effect on me that on the day of closing, I said that if I get out and am fortunate enough to come back to Colorado, I want to work with this team.

So here I am! I am excited to provide the same service, consideration and go the extra mile for all our clients in the same way that was shown to me. As a Minnesota native, moving across the country to El Paso, TX in 2009 to pursue a career in teaching was quite the shock. While there, I met my now husband, and we married in 2012. From there, we went to Fort Drum, NY and in 2017, we headed to Colorado where my husband got stationed at Fort Carson.

During our time at Fort Drum, I discovered my entrepreneurial spirit and started my photography business. After moving to Colorado, and having our two sweet babies, my focus began to shift. Although teaching and photography were once huge passions of mine, as a military spouse, I quickly saw the need for good real estate agents that would fight for what our members of the military need.

Now, I'm living my dream as a Realtor! I'm committed to providing an exceptional experience to everyone I work with. I strive to create an experience that is fun and stress-free! Stephanie Bushnell joins us from a strong Real Estate, Administrative, and Business background. She is a graduate with a Business Administration degree from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business and is licensed in 3 states. Prior to joining the Military Home Search family, she has been a sales agent in Arizona and California, and was the Area Sales Manager for a top rated home warranty company in Colorado. Fun fact, she also directed and coached a competitive cheerleading program for 10 years! Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and is excited to be welcoming a new son in 2022! She is passionate about family, real estate, and serving others. Stephanie will be one of our new Licensed Assistants and Transaction Coordinators. She is looking forward to providing her experience and expertise to the MHS team!

I was born and raised on the beaches in Southern California. I married into the military at 20 years old and spent the next 14 years doing a total of 12 deployments as a military spouse. This gave me first hand experience and empathy for all military spouses and the sacrifices they make. I love to talk with anyone in the military and hear their stories and what they’ve taken away from their own experiences. I am also an alum of North Carolina State University where I pursued a bachelors degree in English. With that, I was planning to get my teaching license to work on military bases with children going through deployments and PCS’s like my children were, but I ended up pursuing a legal path instead.

After a total of four PCS’s I have planted roots in Colorado Springs. My husband is retired Air Force and we have six amazing children ranging from 15 down to a year old. In our spare time we love to ride bikes, go camping and have family game nights where someone wins the “Gellar Cup” for the week. We love church and we make going a priority every Sunday morning. I’m a sommelier who loves true crime podcasts and pushing the limits of my fear of heights.

Before settling on Real Estate I dabbled in a myriad of fields including Law and Customer Relations. However, Real Estate has been an amazing adventure that I’m excited to continue with MilitaryHomeSearch.

Hi, I’m Cynthia Debski. I graduated from Navarro College in Texas and have spent 10 years in business and sales. I have lived in Colorado Springs since 2018 and absolutely love it here. I grew up visiting Colorado regularly and fell in love. The quality of life that Colorado provides was a huge reason we couldn’t wait to be here and made the permanent move for our family.

Heather Wheeler is a recently retired Army Veteran with 10+ years of service to her country and 3 duty stations under her belt. She joined the Army in May of 2011 and never looked back. The Army pcs’ed Heather to Fort Carson in 2018, and she was assigned to 10th Chemical Company, attached to 71st EOD Group. Heather was raised in Taylor, Michigan and is a huge Michigan Wolverine Fan. When Heather decided that it was time to transition out of the Military, she knew she wanted to get out and continue helping those who serve our country. After using her own VA Home loan, and had seen how smooth the process could be to accomplish such a huge dream, she wanted to help her fellow brothers and sisters do the same.
